Cédric Wasser

I am a lecturer and research associate at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Basel where I am a member of the Microeconomic Theory group. I do research in applied microeconomic theory, in particular in market and mechanism design, information design, and contest theory.

In the past, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bonn (2013-19), an interim professor at the University of Mannheim (2018), and a (post-)doctoral researcher at Humboldt University of Berlin (2009-12). I obtained my PhD in economics from the University of Basel in 2010.
